The 11th International Conference of the Peanut Research Community on Advances in Arachis through Genomics and Biotechnology (AAGB-2019) will be convened October 21-25, 2019 in Ji'nan, China. The weather will be a pleasantly cool autumn. The venue will be the Nanjiao Hotel and Resort (http://www.jnnjhotel.com/en/), which is located just south of the Ji'nan City Center near the Thousand-Buddha Mountain and Quancheng (Spring-Water) Park. Ji'nan, the Capital City of Shandong Province, also called as the Spring-Water City. Shandong Province is one of the top peanut producing regions in China with an average annual peanut growing area of 800,000 hectares.
AAGB-2019 will be a forum to foster scientific exchange between members of the international peanut research community through oral and poster presentations, and also to discuss the future of the international peanut conference after the completion of peanut genome sequencing project. In addition, the organizing committee would also like to recognize the leaderships and the "real heroes" who have been working tirelessly behind the scenes from the start to the finish, making this IPGI and peanut genome sequencing project a reality and a success story.
Call for Abstracts: The Organizing Committee invites scientists/postdoctoral associates/students to participate and make poster or oral presentations at the conference. Abstracts (maximum 250 words) should be submitted electronically on the attached abstract form by email to: aagb@aagb2019.cn. Please indicate your preference for oral or poster presentation. You will be notified upon acceptance of your abstract.

Deadlines: To secure a position for presentations at AAGB-2019 technical program, please submit your abstracts before July 1, 2019. Notification of Acceptance and Schedule of presentations will be sent to you before August 1, 2019.
